Tia Rogers: Queen Esther
Queen Esther is inspired by a humble, intelligent and beautiful woman of God who was found favorable by the king as told in the Bible. Inspired by the description of the palace setting and Esther herself, I created a modern gallery of fabrics and products for the home and apparel. The techniques used include Jacquard weaving, digital printing, burn-out and embroidery. This collection is a modern representation of her strength and regalness, conveyed through a variety of sophisticated pieces and rich color palette.
