Everything you need to know about the FTD Emerging Designers Showcase
Collections developed by 26 graduating fashion and textile design (FTD) students at NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles will make their debut this April during the FTD Emerging Designers Showcase.
Seniors spend an entire semester developing collections specific to their concentration during their capstone course. Fashion design students will send six looks down the runway in a show complete with stage lighting, a live stream and professional photography.

Textile design students will showcase their collections, ranging from textile samples to fiber art installations, in custom display booths. This year, nine textile design seniors will also send a few apparel looks down the runway as extension of the collections showcased in their booths.
