The need for affection is a basic human desire that starts at birth and expands into a deeply-rooted understanding of another person. When a couple feels passionately in love with each other the next step is typically marriage. “Aime moi Encore” translates to “love me again” in English, yet is a French -inspired collection with hints of love for all people. Each garment in the collection was once a gown in which Sydney hand collected from many sources, deconstructed and transformed into a garment that can be returned and converted into another garment. This extends the life cycle of the fabrics used in each garment in a way that many people can cherish for years to come, rather than just ones wedding ceremony. The process of deconstruction and then re construction is tedious, but will have a necessary impact on the Bridal Industry.
