Payton Jones: Psychedelic Dreamscape

Scan to hear from the Designer!

To Reveal the Soul. My collection Psychedelic Dreamscape is inspired by the prolific “trippy” artists that found popularity during the 1960s CounterCulture movement; such as Wes Wilson, Peter Max, and Victor Moscoso, who used repeating lines and geometric shapes, bold color choice and placement, and had a sheer disregard for the “rules” of designing making their own styles. This collection will be 10 to 12 thoughtfully crafted textile designs influenced by my views of the modern psychedelic movement with the goal to add warmth, color and comfort to a space rather that be a home, office etc. I plan to create a space designed with the described comfort of an ideal setting to explore the mind while also allowing the consumer to indulge in the patterns and hopefully evoke some creative thoughts.
