Olivia Quiles: Jewel Butterfly
My collection is inspired by a Japanese street fashion, Lolita, that has been a part of my personal identity for over nine years. It is designed to make the wearer feel elegant, youthful, and empowered. My collection will include original prints, jewelry, accessories, and handbags to construct a cohesive line of Lolita-inspired looks. I focused on the delicate nature of butterflies and gemstones to create prints to capture the graceful quality of Lolita fashion. The silhouette of my looks – intricate blouses, bell-shaped skirts, elaborate headpieces – are fundamental to obtaining a proper Lolita ensemble.
