Lindsay Sitton: Envie

I started my collection on the basis of love. I think love for life and those around us is something we all desire to achieve. This is why I chose to title my collection “Envie”, the French translation of “desire”. Love can be described in many ways but the most prominent one to me is in comfort. Not only do we desire comfort in our lives but also in our clothes, our art, and our home textiles.

Stemming from this thought, my collection is based on eliciting these feelings through patterns, textures, and my fabric/yarn choices to hopefully give those who look at my work, the visual and tactile comfort that we associate with love.
