Resilient // adj. – able to withstand or recover expeditiously from onerous conditions
Resilient is an adaptive fashion collection designed with research to create clothing garments that focus on adaptations and adjustability, to better assist individuals with physical disabilities. Each garment is designed with simple donning and doffing, non-abrasive fabrics, and effortless notions; such as magnets and snaps in place of zippers and buttons. The garments are meant to look like ordinary pieces while offering ease to wearers.
The inspiration for this collection comes from the specific needs of individuals, as well as the textures and colors of the Italian coast. The fabrics used throughout the garments are natural and sustainable, with bright yellow dyes and blue hues to contrast the natural colors and bring the collection to life.
