Jennifer Rilley: Après
My collection, entitled Après, is inspired by the beauty of snow-capped mountains and icy landscapes of Iceland as well as the brightly colored geothermal and celestial activities that occur there. The collection features ready-to-wear women’s clothes for skiing and snowboarding, on and off the slopes. Half of the collection will be technical base, mid, and outer layers to be worn while skiing and snowboarding, while the other half will be warm, fashion-forward layers to be worn after a long day of skiing and snowboarding. Some of the pieces will feature an original floral print design, mountain-shaped hand quilting, or Shima Seiki whole garment knitting.
