My collection spotlights design, texture, adaptability and its aesthetic strength as stand alone fashion garments and textiles. A designer’s inspiration can be taken from innumerable sources, but the process of taking an idea and turning it into a fitted garment or textile piece is a calculated process. Using techniques learned throughout my years in college, I will create my collection. My collection will encompass whole garment knitting, digital printing, pleating, laser cutting, tapestry weaving, felting, domestic machine knitting, silk painting, wool and silk dyeing, hand embroidery, and hand knitting
