Carson Harvey: Recherché

The concept of this collection is beauty from destruction. My inspiration comes from old buildings that are crumbling or taken over by nature whether it be snow, moss or just the elements in general. Many of my pieces in this collection feature unfinished edges on playful and elegant silhouettes. The fabrics of the collection have either been woven by hand or manipulated in some way to have more texture. The color pallet features white, grey, black, and blue with hints of silver. The textures and colors of this collection come together to bring a new light on something torn and broken and helps make it beautiful again.
