Caitlin Hill: Through the Seasons

The backbone of my collection stems from a personal passion for bridal gowns. I have known for most of my time at NC State that I would somehow incorporate this passion into my senior collection. With market research I’ve noticed that the only seasonal aspect of wedding dresses is the weight of the fabric and the amount of detail. I am developing different handmade lace appliques such as flowers, leaves, and snowflakes for the gowns to further the seasonal theme. The combination of the lace details and flowing color palette will take any bride through the seasons.
