Brooke Connolly: post-girl 9000
“post-girl 9000” is a virtual fashion collection inspired by the postmodern science fiction publication Terminal Identity by Scott Bukatman. This is interpreted visually via gothic horror illustrations and aesthetic hauntology, defined as the “idea of nostalgia as a disruption of time.”
This concept was realized virtually using the CLO3D design program as a means of exploring the medium and purpose of clothing ontologically. The collection incorporates a variety of styles from past decades and experiments with surface design and proportion.
