Abbie Doss: Verlassen

My collection Verlassen, meaning deserted in German, is inspired by a future where society is in a post-apocalyptic era and clothing is scarce to come by. Collecting clothing is a part of surviving just as much as collecting food. My garments will feature post-consumer clothing to provide sustainable sourcing methods and will include layering effects of multiple materials. This collection features Wholegarment knitting, patchworking, and machine and hand distressing.
