Martha Luck Johnston: Luck In The Garden

My name is Martha Luck Johnston, and I am a senior in Fashion Design. My collection titled, “Luck In the Garden”, is inspired by my love for flowers and colorful nature. Growing up with my dad being a landscaper, I would constantly quiz him on the name of any flower I could spot. Over the years I have become more and more intrigued by flowers and love finding rare blooms to create beautiful arrangements. I want my collection to feel like you are walking through a beautiful garden full of blossoming flowers and fluttering butterflies. Imagination can take you anywhere in the garden and can become an escape from reality. This collection will transcend you through time with beautiful textures, appliques, and embroidery.
