Norah Philbin: Grit

“Grit” is a womenswear collection exploring the perseverance it takes to remain yourself despite dynamic shifts in life. Rather than focusing on personal transformation, the collection reflects the endurance required to stay grounded in yourself through moments of uncertainty, pressure, and change. Drawing from western influences, I reshape ideas of utility into something more fluid; where structure softens and grit evolves into elegance.

Through a range of fabric weights, textures, and tones, the garments balance the tension between toughness and vulnerability. Hints of gold symbolize the authenticity that continues to peek through despite hardship. This collection is designed for women who live deliberately, move through the world with confidence, and value clothing that reflects their strength and character.
