Emma McDaniels: Abloom

This collection is influenced by my own time in the wedding industry, from florals to gowns. Textures and shapes of petals vary from flower to flower, and I have used a variety of techniques to create an assortment of my own, with a focus on hand embellishment and couture elements. The goal was to create pieces both whimsical and wearable, using shades of white in many types of fabric and a little bit of something blue added to each one. Every dress, like every bride, comes with its own unique personality and set of circumstances, and as a designer my aim is to create gowns that hold space for individualism and self expression.
