Alessandra Ramirez: Teak + Cedar

Teak + Cedar is a lifestyle brand designed to share a sense of newfound optimism. My goal for this collection is to incorporate hints of mid-century modern design and create prints and knits that can be used in both apparel and home decor. Teak + Cedar is inspired by earthiness, sleek lines, organic and geometric forms and contrasting materials. The color palette is inspired by colors found in nature and jewel tones. This collection showcases hand drawn motifs, digital textile prints, handwoven fabrics, knit Wholegarment® designs, rug tufting, and other techniques learned through my time at NC State.
