Cadee Gafford: Blind Tiger

The Blind Tiger is the modern-day speakeasy.  The name derives from the shrouded secrecy during the 1920s prohibition era.  Establishments hinge on the feeling of discreteness, often hidden inside other restaurants or other venues identified only by a type of animal print. This moody interior pulls jewel tones and natural elements as well as a mixed media of bold maximalism to create posh and sophistication to define the new modern era.
