Bella Cybulski: The Dressing Suite

An exploration of the transition from girlhood to womanhood through dress and accessories, this concept examines how clothing, play, and self-styling evolve from imaginative childhood dress-up into modern expressions of identity, design, and femininity. The space is imagined as a boutique dressing room, where visitors flip through and explore a variety of fabrics, envisioning them as materials for select garments. By inviting this tactile and creative interaction, the project reintroduces the whimsical excitement of dressing up. It highlights how modern “dress-up” continues to shape women’s sense of identity and excitement as they grow into adulthood.
